For the broad application of P.C. continuous curved girder bridge, it has become a crucial bridge type in the design and construction of transportation infrastructure. Affected by, however, many conditions such as spatial distribution of tendons, bending action of curved box girder, torsion , shear lag and aberrance, the actually received action seems more complicated than usual.This paper summarized the basic theories and calculation methods of curved box girder bridge. Also the deducing process is offered. Then based on a practical intersection project, corresponding calculations were carried out to analyze the construction-completed and management state of the curve bridge by means of finite element and grillage method. Through results comparison, relatively rational distribution of prestressing tendons is achieved. At the same time, by discussing the different effects on bridge due to different curvatures and eccentricity of bearing locations, a conclusion was gained about displacement and internal force for curved continuous beam bridge.Finally, conclusion shows that error exists in the results got through grillage method comparing to the one through finite element analysis. But the error is accepted inside the tolerance range and can be neglected due to its simple model, unambiguous loading mode, fast calculation and direction only to design. Also the factors such as distribution of tendons, curvature and eccentricity of bearing locations and so on can produce remarkable influences on bridge, especially on distortion, that should be a alarm to us while designing. At last, some suggestions are given based on the analyses and design vista of bridge, which are of relevant significance to present structural design.
