Synthetic Aperture Radar is a kind of high resolution radar,two dimensions imaging radar. It is made by synthetic aperture and pulse compress theory high data manage radar system.High resolution synthetic aperture radar has been researched a lot, it is a very important technology both in military affairs and civilian use. And movement compensation is the key for high resolution synthetic aperture radar imaging. It has many researches on movement compensation so as to makes the high resolution and super high resolution synthetic aperture radar imaging comes true.Synthetic Aperture Radar can be used in almost everywhere: in geologic and mineral searches, Synthetic Aperture Radar can be used to check the ground, does researches on rocks and mineral resource distributing;in the sea applications, Synthetic Aperture Radar can research the characteristic of large area ocean wave, research sea and bergs distributing, can stakeout the growth of halobios, and can also be used to research the sea flux and pollutant;on landform mapping, Synthetic Aperture Radar can be used to take maps of large areas, mensurate the forms and positions of hills,rivers,cities,villages and roads;in water application, Synthetic Aperture Radar can be used to mensurate large area soil wet and distributing, research the bestrow of snow on ground and ice on the lakes, research large area pollution and mensurate the polluted areas;in agriculture and woods, Synthetic Aperture Radar can be used to distinguish the crops, research the growth of crops, research nature plant distributing, and can be used distinguish the kinds of forests and find,estimate the fires.Synthetic Aperture Radar is a kind of high resolution radar,which is used on missile to make sure the high precision and hit the target .It is of high value in military applications.Synthetic Aperture Radar can be classified into four kinds: bar Synthetic Aperture Radar,gather Synthetic Aperture Radar,scan Synthetic Aperture Radar and athwart Synthetic Aperture Radar. The characteristics of them are: for bar Synthetic Aperture Radar, during the period the data collection, the radar antenna points at a fixed direction, the area scanned by antenna is parallel with the fly line of the radar; during the period the data collection of gather Synthetic Aperture Radar, the radar controls the antenna and makes it points at the target area all the time; for scan Synthetic Aperture Radar, during the period of data collection the antenna points with certain rules; athwart Synthetic Aperture Radar is like with the gather Synthetic Aperture Radar, but the radar is stillness and the target is motorial. For the four kinds of Synthetic Aperture Radar, the bar Synthetic Aperture Radar is more typical, it has two kinds: correctitude side-glance Synthetic Aperture Radar and askance side-glance Synthetic Aperture Radar, and correctitude side-glance Synthetic Aperture Radar is suitable for the plat flying on cruise missile. First the paper introduces the theory of Range-Doppler algorithm,introduces the pulse condensation of linear frequency modulation signal in theory, and explains the azimuth condensation and range condensation.Then the paper introduces the Chirp Scaling algorithm,it is a more advanced SAR algorithm for large observe trip and large range movement.The paper introduces the basal theory of the arithmetic by the flow chart and from theory.Then, the paper validates the SAR algorithm on missile smooth flying section by using a section of real data of SAR on missile smooth flying section. First, using Range-Doppler algorithm to image relay on the SAR data validates the validity of the algorithm, and get the image, validates the validity of the algorithm during the smooth flying section on missile. Then the paper uses C-S algorithm to image based on the data, validates the validity of the algorithm, using the real data to prove the credibility of the simulation and gets the SAR image by C-S algorithm. Comparing the images between R-D and C-S algorithm, and gets the conclusion that the C-S algorithm is better. Finally, base on the targets characteristic along the way of the missile smooth flying section, simulate several typical targets on imaging, comparing the effects of SAR images for each target.Next, simulating on the end flying section of the missile, the paper introduces the hardness and particularities of imaging when the missile goes into the end flying section. Produces a flying model of the missile, using the screw flying to approach the target, and then simulates the imaging on missile bases on the model. The paper introduces the exactitude guide scheme by using the slanting side imaging method. The paper explains the high resolution theory on azimuth during the end flying section. Since during the end flying section, the missile flying line is complicated, so the difficulty of imaging is compensation of the movement. The paper firstly does simulation on radar data of the target, puts all the delay time that caused by the relative movement between missile and target in the data, then uses the circle way to put the back data in order and gets the exactitude SAR images; Then analyses the images from R-D and extend R-D algorithm.At last, the paper makes the SAR algorithm into software, then gets a simulation software which can be used as analysis and simulation on cruise missile, by using this software, the paper can transfer the MATLAB simulation system from the VC++ interface, and finally gets accident software on algorithm simulation, the software will be expanded and will greatly evaluated the precision of cruise missile, the software is very useful on military affairs.
