Switched Reluctance Drive-SRD is a new type of speed control system, it has become the hottest research topics. The establishment of SRD nonlinear dynamic model and intelligent control in the application of SRD are two important research directions of Switched Reluctance Driver (Switched Reluctance Motor, short SR motor). The topic of this paper is the establishment of SRD non-linear dynamic model and intelligent control in the application of SRD.This paper first discusses the working principle of SR motor speed control system, and introduces the linear and quasi-linear inductance model of SR motor, based on the analysis of other SR motor nonlinear inductance model, using a both precise and relatively simple non-linear inductance model.Based on the nonlinear model, a four-phase (8/6-pole) SR motor speed control system dynamic simulation model is established in the MATLAB/Simulink environment, simulating the entire SRD under the three different kinds of control modes, which include current chopper control, angle and position control and voltage chopper control, get the SR motors' phase current, torque, speed and torque of waveforms, by comparing the literature material experimental result, verify the accuracy of the establishment simulation model.Based on the nonlinear of the SRD system, ithe control system using fuzzy control strategy, Fuzzy control compared with conventional PID regulator, fuzzy control have a certain ability to adapt to nonlinear systems, PID control is relatively speaking relatively simple, but has some poor results for the control of nonlinear systems, however the conventional fuzzy control of the governor failed to meet performance requirements of SRD .So this paper uses fuzzy-PID method to improve the performance of SRD, which combining the fuzzy control and the PID control. Based on the three control programme which includes fuzzy PD control ,fuzzy-PID control and fuzzy adaptive tuning PID control, this paper simulates the control system, the simulation result proves what prove the speed control system performance, the governor satisfactory results.
