Gliding and rolling indicating system of helicopter guiding and deck landing is the important equipment for helicopter return and deck landing in the condition of night or low visibility. With shipborne helicopter's use continually spreading, the indemnificatory requirement in technology of how to ensure helicopter return and deck landing safely is enhanced. Accordingly, the improvements of gliding and rolling indicating system get more and more important.This paper introduces the gliding and rolling indicating system, mostly introduces the system composition, gliding indicator and rolling indicator's structural style. Two technical disadvantages are available. One is gliding light beams faint created by vessel movement, the other is the illegibility of ship rolling information. So this paper improves the gliding indicator structural style and solves effectively the first problem by adopting combined structure, which are composed of cylindraceous type of gliding indicator and position compensation mechanism. In order to solve the second problem, built-up structure which are composed of vertical base light staff and fixed light staff are adopted. At the same time, the forecasting technique of ship motion is applied to solve effectively the illegibility of ship rolling information. LED array controlling technology and modular controlling technology is applied.Finally, in order to validate rationality and validity of the improved project, the movement of rolling indicator's vertical light staff and the compensatory mechanism of gliding indicator's position is simulated with ADAMS software. The kinetic control clip is taken as kernel cell in the design of kinetic control system. At last, the experiment is done to verify the kinetic control system.
