With the in-depth research of underwater acoustic technology,various kinds of underwater acoustic equipments,which are applied in deep exploration of the ocean,underwater communication,military and national defense,and etc.,have undergone rapid development as well.At the same time,more and more attention is paid to the underwater acoustic data acquisition system.Because of the influences of the factors as complex channels,signal attenuation and the harsh environment,it is significant to design an underwater acoustic data acquisition system,which is of high reliability,low power,real-time and confirms to underwater acoustic engineering requirements.The study of the present project is originated from one certain kind of underwater measuring system.On the basis of analyzing the characteristics of underwater acoustic signals,this paper elaborates the principles of designing the data acquisition system of underwater acoustic signals.Aiming at the practical requirements of the underwater acoustic data acquisition,the paper has adopted the embedded ARM9 processor and real-time VxWorks operating system,and has designed and developed a set of data acquisition system of underwater acoustic signals,which is based on ARM_VxWorks and of high reliability.With its critical components as embedded S3C2410 processor,high-precision ADC,Ethernet controller CS8900 and mass memory,this design has transplanted the VxWorks operating system,designed the attached board support package and developed the corresponding drivers.Based on the above and aimed at the characteristics and requirements of the underwater acoustic data acquisition system,this paper develops a data acquisition system with internet communication as a way of data transmission,as well as realizes the functions of serial communication and local mass storage.The system test results indicate that adopting the data acquisition system of ARM_VxWorks structure can effectively fulfill the task of acquiring underwater acoustic data.
