| The exact location of high-voltage transmission line fault can contribute to overhaul fault lines, resume power supply timely, and reduce the social impact and economic losses caused by electric power cut. And it also has great significant value for safety and reliability of power system. This thesis, through the study and analysis of the present methods of fault location, comments on their status quo and the respective advantages and disadvantages.The influence of filtering on the location accuracy, improved the difference FFT algorithm with the idea of setting compensation angle, difference Fourier filtering algorithm, the simulation indicated that the improved filtering algorithm with less calculation, high precision. And it is conducive to fault location.Presented a fault location middle point search improved algorithm based on two-terminal asynchronous data with the ability of converting and amending error. The model of transmission line based on the distributed parameters, considered the impact of distributed capacitance. Presented a method convert various types of errors to the changes of line parameters, than feed back to revise model parameters in order to reduce the impact of errors. Analyzed the origin and solve methods of the non-synchronous angle. Based on all of these, derived a fault location algorithm by calculations. By analyzing the trends and specific changes of voltage distribution along the transmission line, presented a fault location middle point search improved algorithm with the direction of monitoring and correction, to ensure convergence, get out of dead area, improve the accuracy, and then using error analysis and data-processing method so that the results can be close to the range of true value.MATLAB simulation program indicated that this algorithm is effective on the entire range of transmission line. The fault resistance and the fault styles and non-synchronous angle have little influence on this algorithm. And it can eliminate the impact of various errors, with a high degree of accuracy and practical value on engineering. And this thesis studied the application of location algorithm in the fault location device and power system fault information processing systems. |
