The coupling of laser energy and hohlraum will be reduced by the scattering of laser. Scattering of laser is of interest to ICF research, and measurement of scattering is an important part. By the measurement of scattering light energy and the analysis of spectra, the energy distributing and spectral information can be obtained. A near backscatter and full aperture backscatter measurement system is developed for large scale laser facility. The measurement of energy distributing and spectral information is realized by the system.A design scheme of near backscatter and full aperture backscatter measurement system is proposed according to the design requirement of ICF and measurement of scattering light. The key problem is analysed, and detailed design of optical paths and structure is done. Optimization and mechanical analysis are done by the composite use of three dimension design software and finite element analysis software. The debugging of the near backscatter measurement system is done, and the measure of near backscatter light is realized. The main contents and creations as follows:①The theory and measure methods, the development of laser scattering measuring are introduced.②Combining the requirement of near backscatter and full aperture backscatter measurement system, the design scheme is proposed by the composite use of precision mechanical design and optical design.③Detailed mechanical design and optical paths design of near backscatter and full aperture backscatter measurement system are accomplished according to scheme. It also combined with simpliest structure rule, minimum distortion rule, shortest mechanical transmission rule. The five dimension adjusting and support of near backscatter measure instrument and brackets in full aperture backscatter measure instrument are realized.④3-D model of near backscatter and full aperture backscatter measurement system is built by Pro/engineer, and the mechanical analysis is done by FEM software ANSYS. The static and dynamical analysis is done according to the key structure FEM modal. The static distortion and former ten order modes are gained. As a result, the optimization for the system is proposed.⑤Installation and debugging on near backscatter measurement instrument are accomplished, and the relative measures are done. The result shows that near backscatter measure instrument satisfied the requirement of design, and the precise position is realized. The experiment result nearly match theory.By the debugging and experiment in the target chamber, the result shows that the design scheme of the near backscatter and full aperture backscatter system is feasible. And the system satisfied the physical requirements and it will promote the research of backscatter laser.
