With the development of modern construction technique and the application of new material, bridges which progress towards small rigidity, big flexibility, great span and light weight are more sensitive to the action of winds .consequently,It becomes extremely urgent for researching on the wind induced vibration of the long span bridges .Regarding this kind of especially great span bridge, Because of the structure power response caused by the wind that is elegance vibration,It has become the primary factor to the bridge design. This article takes a constructing steel truss arched bridge as the background research .It researches the bridge's flutter, Vortex -Induced Vibration and Buffeting response characteristic which provides the reliable basis to go against the wind the design for this bridge.This article is researched on content mainly including the following several aspects:â‘ It analyses this bridge's address,the landform and the weather condition to obtains this bridge materials including speed, wind direction and provides the primary data for researching elegance power response of the DANING River bridge.â‘¡Using the ANSYS which is a large-scale structure finite element analysis software, to calculate this bridge the dynamic characteristics parameter for obtaining the free frequency and Inspires of this bridge and so on.â‘¢Using the specially analysis software, it can gate through this bridge flutter critical wind, inspires the fixed wind, the resonance amplitude of the Vortex Vibration ,the buffeting strength as well as the buffeting displacement and so on by the analysis and the computation for this bridge flutter state parameter, Vortex-Induced Vibration and the buffeting response. Then making the appraisal to this bridge wind resistant performance and researching how to avoid the great power response and proposing the reasonable effective to the measure of wind resistant.The flutter analysis result is indicating that this bridge has the good air-operated stability. The flutter critical wind velocity of the kingpost cross-section is higher than 120m/s which indicating this bridge is capacity to resistant the torsional flutter. The buffeting analysis result is indicating that it can meet the stable request because the buffeting displacement of vertical, lateral and the torsional responds is with the design wind speed. In construction condition, when constructing to the fifth section above, it is possibility to have the big buffeting displacement if it does not to take the wind resistant measure, but after installing the wind resistant cable it also can meet the stable request of the bridge responds because the buffeting displacement of the biggest bracket condition is slightly greater than the complete bridge condition.
