Brushless DC (Brushless Direct Current Motor, short named BLDCM) control system is a new type of speed control system, with a good running, control and economic performance, and it has a great development. The brushless DC motor adopts the electronic commutation, instead of mechanical commutation and wire brush. The DC motor has the favorable governing performance of the DC motor, as well as a simple structure, reliable operation, easy maintenance, etc of the AC motor. So BLDCM has been widely using in various fields.This paper starts from the structure of the brushless DC motor, dwells on its working principle, and establishes a simple mathematical model with the motor phase variable, then analyses a number of characteristics based on this. And then it studies a number of key technologies around the sensor less brushless DC motor control system: Rotor position detection, motor starting and the PWM control technology. Finally, in accordance with the requirements of control system, it designs hardware platform, including the rotor position detection circuit, inverter control circuit, the phase current, the phase voltage detection circuit, fault logic circuit and so on.The control system using TI's chips called TMS320F2812DSP as a controller and fuzzy PID control as a control strategy.It's fouces on the control software design and system architecture hareware plat form structure.This DSP With a powerful data-processing capabilities and rich feature module saves ever complicated hardware circuit. On the fuzzy PID control strategy, the paper describes the characteristics of fuzzy PID controller and studies on it. In the end, the paper composes the overall project's programming with assembly language ,C/C++ language and modular structure programming based on the intergraded development environment CCS2(2000). All parts are concise, so that easy to modify procedures, debugging and transplantation on this form programming.Finally, the entire BLDC control system designs to achieve, and using Chang Zhou HeTai brushless DC motor named 57BL01 as experimental subject at the same time. At the same time, the paper summarizes the research work and the prospect of further research work.
