Power factor correction (PFC) technology can not only reduce power line losses, energy conservation, it can also reduce the harmonic pollution and improve the quality of the power supply. PFC technology generally consists of passive PFC technology (PPFC), and active power factor correction (APFC). PPFC does not require special control circuit and easy to implement, but still exit large harmonic currents and require electricity load resistance; APFC make the input current become sinusoidal, eliminate the current harmonics, and the input current and input voltage fully with the same phase, make input power factor close to 1.APFC technology to be a lot of applications in the converter. On the basis of refering to a large number of literature ,Paper introduces the single-phase and three-phase high PFC status of circuit topology and control method, describes the current APFC control technology and the classificate their respective advantages and disadvantages. the thesis of a double switch three-phase PFC circuit is studied. This double switch three-phase PFC's idea is : two single-phase PFC circuit consists of a double switch three-phase PFC circuit. This paper first introduces this three-phase PFC circuit, then analysis the process of the main circuit and discusse of the control circuit and the basic tenets of the features.Based on the double switch three-phase PFC circuit , analysis it modeling and simulation in SIMULINK.The final results of the experiment show that they can achieve PF of 0.9 and the importation of the line current THD 5%, the even harmonics of DC load on the output side are effectively eliminated.
