The outbreak of SARS in 2002 caused heavy loss to our country. In order to prevent Communicable Diseases such as SARS spread through the community,we should improve HVAC System in infectious isolation wards. We should provide a comfortable environment for patients,and prevent Communicable Diseases escape from infectious isolation wards,but also bring down possibilities in infection of nurses.So when we design HVAC System of an infectious isolation ward,in the question of how to improve efficiency of ventilation and effect of isolation,our consideration is a combination of architectural feature and air-flow organization.When we design HVAC System of infectious isolation wards,it's demanded to meet the following requirements:employ highly efficient pollutant purification,protect nurses from infection,provid a comfortable environment for patients,avoid eddy and dead corner,take energy-saving into account which is required by environmental protection.This article introduced a complete set of knowledge about design of HVAC System in infectious isolation ward,it discussed and put forward some proposals ultimately,the conclusion include: To prevent Communicable Diseases escape from infectious isolation wards,we should take steps such as maintain negative pressure in isolation wards,use buffer rooms,improve air-flow organization,increase rate of ventilation,consider local exhaust ventilation.To reduce indoor pollutant concentration,ensure cleanness of air in work area of nurses,guarantee nurses are not possibly infected.With reference to relevant literature and theory,I brought forward and dicuss several proposal with supply air outlet and extraction grille of different position.I made numerical simulation with Fluent software.First I established a model of an infectious isolation ward,then simulated supply air outlet and extraction grille of different position,finally I analysis concentration of pollutants,wind speed and temperature in work area,by means of comparison,I got the best proposal.
