Research On The Process Of Honeycomb Paper-Core And Tools Of Production

With the development of Chinese economy and the reinforcement of awareness of environment, the demand of the domestic market on honeycomb paperboard is increasing. However, people have not started paying attention to civil honeycomb paperboard industries until the trade barriers have been set up by the USA and other Western countries in 1998. Because the process of civil honeycomb paperboard manufacturing developed less than 10 years, the necessary process and equipment have not yet been matured, and there is still a great gap between domestic product and developed countries'. At present, comparing with the research of the process, the cellular structural mechanics have been researched by many domestic colleges and universities. Therefore, the research on its key processes and equipments becomes more and more meaningful.Base on the study and analysis of domestic and abroad existed honeycomb core fabrication process, the factors of efficiency and quality have been analyzed. Then, the merits and drawbacks of the lengthwise and crosswise paste have been pointed out. The best process methods and routes have been provided. Therefore, the key equipment has been determined, such as the unaltered-tension paper-rack, the constant-glue-staff, the spiral-cutter and stacker' design.Pro/E has been used to establish three-dimensional model of the paper-rack, along with Pro/MECHANICA to take the analysis of stress and distortion, then to optimize its structure. For the key components of the paper-rack., the design-principle and computing method have been proved.In order to achieve consecutive cutting in the high-speed manufacturing process of Paper Core, the spiral-cutter in the manufacture of honeycomb core has been applied, and the working principle has been discussed. Then, the mathematical relationships among the core's speed, the length, the rotational speed of spiral-cutter and the rotation angle of its own axis process have been established, which can be effective in guiding cut-off automation in product.Comparing the advantage with the disadvantage of already-existed paste method, the constant-glue-staff and the relationships between delivery dosis and inner pressure of constant-glue-staff have been pointed out. At the same time, the design of quantitative glue stick sealing structure has been made. By these ways, the quality of gluing and the efficiency have been improved greatly.
