Neutral indirectly ground system is the power system which neutral point doesn't directly connect with the ground or via the arc suppression coil. The attribution net in our country is the neutral indirectly ground system, but the kind system is very friability. Considering the complex topology of the attribution net, the power system will be influenced by the accident which been not deal with at once. So some strategy should be employed, what is significant for the power system. The feature of fault in the neutral indirectly ground system isn't distinctive, and the current is very little. This problem has not been solved for long time, which hinders the development of the reliability and automation of the power system.Firstly, papers focus on the feature of the fault in neutral indirectly ground system, and pay much attention on the transient state and steady state character. Base on the theory analysis, the papers use the SimPowerSystem tool of Matlab to make a math module of the fault in neutral indirectly ground system. The article put the method of S signal injection, power transient and other fault line detection method, then do some simulation test by using the SimPowerSystem.In the end, having consulted the domestic and foreign literature materials and analyzed the history and the present situation of relay protective technology, and having unified the development tendency of the domestic and foreign microcomputers relay protective technology and the characteristic of the domestic microcomputer relay protective devices having great market, the production demanded diversification, we designed a set of practical device which based on the TMS320F2812 technology. While designing,we thought of the special market demand of our country's power industry development. This designing work was completed with the existing mature hardware circuit and technical. This designing method has broad application prospect.
