Surplus heat utilization is an important method in the energy conservation and the surplus heat utilization in the building ventilation is an important part of the building energy conservation. The compact ventilation equipments (used in the residential districts) have been developing quickly during these years and the heat pipe ventilation equipments have been used widely.The compact heat pipe ventilation equipment is made of the tube shell and the heat pipe at the normal temperature. It not only settled the problems of exchanging fresh air, but also saved energy, so it'll be used widely in the not too far future. Nevertheless, in the nowadays, the experimental and the theoretic research of the heat pipe is mainly concentrated on the industrial utilization, and we usually use the theory of the industrial surplus heat utilization. The paper is intended to choose the best heat pipe ventilation equipment working at the normal temperature, and then finish simulating calculations and optimization designs on the compact ventilation equipments.On the base of reading some correlated references and the theoretic analysis, the paper designed the sizes of the equipment, the obliquity of the equipment, the percentage of the liquid, the properties and the temperature of the liquid, the materials of the tube and so on. The paper also analyzed the process of heat transfer in the tube, used the concentrated parameter method and the heat resistance network analysis method to design the heat pipe, optimized the construction parameters of the thermosyphon in order to do best in the heat transfer with the language of Matlab. After the designing of heat pipe, the paper proposed two kinds of optimizing models and calculated the temperature of the liquid in the tube, using the discrete calculation model and the method ofε-NTU.The main task of the paper is to choose the optimized heat pipe equipment, simulate the conditions of the heat pipe ventilation equipment, and analyze the efficiency of the surplus heat recovery.
