Regenerative system has been proposed and applied on many field due to the shortage of natural resources and the people's recognition of environment. This technology of the regeneration is advanced and the target of this field. That is, replacing dynamic brake resistance with regenerate model to achieve the purpose of energy-saving.Currently, there is an application regarding regeneration in china. That is, replacing dynamic brake resistance with the regenerate package outside of the drive to achieve the purpose of energy-saving. This application needs the big size and high cost. So, it could not be applied popularly.This task is to add OTIS drive which including regenerative model into elevator as elevator-control system. So, this drive needn't the dynamic brake resistance and has the regenerative feature. This drive will translate the energy from motor to main line during elevator is down dirction at full load, up dirction at empty load and brake condition. Then, the energy is saved. Also, the heat-pollution released from dynamic brak resistance is erased. Especially, the work cost of this drive approaches the one of the traditional drive. The elevator-control system with OTIS regenerative drive has the advantage of low cost, high performance and wide applicative scope.This task is to research and develop and integrate the elevator-control and drive system which matches OTIS regenerative drive's requirement. The system-model includes OTIS 25A regenerative drive, 2.5T permanent magnetic synchronous gearless machine, control board and load weighing board.Now, the design of regenerative system on elevator has been completed and has been integrated on Gen2 CN-MRL which is the main product of OTIS. This system can run normally on prototype and all test results meet marketing requirement.
