Along with the rapid development of China's traffic,more and more long-span bridge are needed to span wide rivers and straits and so on.The steel bridge is the most appropriate choice.Because of the complicated construction procedure of steel bridge, the steel bridge will be affected by many certain or uncertain parameters . Construction control plays a significant role in guaranteeing the successful building of the steel bridge.This thesis is set in a specially-shaped steel truss bridge which crosses HaiHe in Tianjin.General situation on the development of steel bridge is introduced,and the purpose and significant of the construction monitoring work are also presented.The basic theory of bridge construction control and the factors influencing the construction control are also summarized.The subsidence of piers and abutments has been observed after it's construction which has guaranteed the construction carried on smoothly.The inner force of primary members and the deformation of steel box girder through the system transformation are mainly concerned.With the help of finite element analysis software MIDAS Civil, the three-dimensional model of this steel truss bridge has been formed.The stress of truss member,the restraint reaction of bridge bearing and the settlement of steel box girder have been analyzed so as to afford essentially theoretical basis to the construction monitoring.The stress of vertical post and the restraint reaction of bridge pier during the system convention can be put on the track and control.The deformation of steel box girder is also surveyed.The actual stress of vertical post, bridge pier and the settlement of steel box have been obtained.The results of measurement are compared and with the theoretical ones.Therefore the reasonable proposal can been advanced promptly to the construction.The successful experience, the massive data material and the research results of the bridge construction control offered in this thesis can provide valuable reference for construction monitoring of the same type bridge in the future.
