In recent thirty years, long span PC continuous box girder bridges have been widely used. They take great proportion in bridges in domestic and abroad. They have the advantages of great anti-wrest stiffness, working whole well, and enduring positive and negative bending well. The construction method is mature and easy to mastering. However, in many bridges, there are great deals of cracks occured in construction process or under service after their construction. They have severely influenced the normal work and bearing capacity of bridge.In this thesis, the main objects are as fallows:1. Some analysis methods for box girder are introduced, various kind of cracks are summarized and crack causes are analysed.2. According to reports about the crack inspection before consolidation maintenance and the static and dynamic load test on the Chengpeng overpass bridge, and some problems about the bridge are also discussed.3. Taking the Chengpeng overpass for an example, the evaluation methods about PC continuons box girder brige are discussed.
