The box arch bridge is widely used in the bridge construction, as for it is grand magnificent and economic. There are sereral ways in the construction of the box arch bridge, in which, the cable erecting construction way are applied more widely. However, this method also bring in the complex change of the internal forces and displacements in the bridge. To ensure the quality and safety in the construction ,it is requisite to control the construction.The paper based on the sumaries and analysis on the tendency of the construction control technology in domestiland and foreign, conducts some recearches to cable erectting construction control technology in the long span box arch bridge.There are sereral main works in the paper , first, the theise introduce the character of the cable erecting construction and the composition control, design of the cable erecting construction , then according to the long span box arch bridge character, we propose a reasonable construction cotrol method,establish the comprehensie supervisory system .Use this supervisory system ,we succefully gathered the datas of the stress and the deflection monitored in the construction of TongYang bridge. Then comparise the dates to the result of computer model simulator to guide the further construction. We make a conclution in terms of the comparision mentioned obover. At last ,we fulfill the task of controlling of construction of the TongYang bridge and the effect obviorsly.
