Xigeda landslide is one of the most adverse geological phenomenons along the Xichang-Panzhihua Speedway. The anti-slide pile, anchor part of which is in Xigeda rock, is widely used in landslide's governance. The nature of Xigeda rock is similar to very soft rock, but we have not worked out a clear and complete method to calculate anti-slide pile located in very soft rock in the present norms, and can not find the specialized research literature in this field of determination of embedded depth of anti-slide pile. In order to find out the interaction mechanism between pile and soil in Xigeda rock and enhance the design level for anti-slide pile located in this stratum; this paper analyzes the pile-soil interaction mechanism via lateral static load test in Yonglang area.This paper analyzes the anti-slide pile in Xigeda stratum with the tests of piles at site and indoor soil tests. In combination with test data, we give a further study on embedded depth of anti-slide pile, and put out anti-slide pile embedded depth theoretically in Yonglang area. The main jobs in this paper are as follows:1 The paper summarizes the distribution, causes and characteristics of Xigeda stratum. And sums up the develop history, the design calculation theory, procedure about anti-slide pile.2 Situations about two test piles's scene of lateral static load test are introduced; collection and analysis of the results of the test are made. Simulate test piles by the use of FLAC3D numerical analysis software to conclude the general steps, parameters selected, as well as attentions of calculating geotechnical engineering problems with FLAC3D software.3 The stability of the landslide is evaluated under various operating conditions according to the soil parameters of slide body and slide belt. With the FLAC3D numerical analysis software, the paper gives an overall analysis on landslide and anti-slide pile to conclude the engineering pile displacement development as expected. The paper analyzes different length of anti-slide piles' retaining effects on landslide, and concludes that in Xigeda landslide of Younglang area, the reasonable pile embedded depth is recommended as 2/3 of pile length, which can play a very good effect against sliding.
