Military optic instruments are important components of weapon equipments, they take more and more important parts in many fields, for example aiming, angle measuring, distance measuring, guidance and communication. Therefore in order to be adapted to development tide of modern weapon equipments and success in future high-technology war, the digitalized detecting for optic instruments must be realized as soon as possible. The optic-axis error detecting that acts as the one of main performance testing needs to be digitalized too. The CCD technology, photoelectron technology and photo-electricity imaging technology are developing at very high speed ,so they provide the possibility for the digitalized detecting of optic-axis error.By analyzing the relative merits of traditional detecting methods for optic-axis error and demonstrating to the digitalized detecting method, finally the topic defines the detecting method around the core of CCD image sensor. This method is based on original theory and combines CCD imaging system and use image-collecting board to link to computer, by this means it can realize using computer to processing optic-axis error and obtaining the qualitative and quantitative results.Using this detecting theory successfully testing many multi-optic axis systems. By the analyses to experimental results it can be showed that the detecting accuracy can meet the requirements of measurand , and the detecting results can also provide reliable reference for the following alignment and amendment.
