For the survival of human, energy is an important material foundation for economic growth and social progress. Hydropower is a renewable energy. In recent 50 years, hydropower station construction has a rapid development, And the ventilation in Hydropower Plant must attach enough importance. Tailrace tunnel ventilation can achieve the application of natural cool source in ventilating and air conditioning system of hydropower station. it has the advantages of energy saving, environment protection and reproduce, and it is an energy and cost saving cool source.At present Based on the research of TTV technique is based on a long Tailrace tunnel, in which the air parameters in tunnel are close to the saturated conditions corresponding water temperature. So the outlet air can be used directly. However, the most tailrace tunnels in actual hydropower station project are short ones,. the heat and moisture transfer between air and water is unadequate. TTV technique ia limited. In order to enhance the adaptability of the TTV technology and expand its scope of application. A finite Length tailrace tunnel was studied systematacially. According to the control requirements of hydropower station air supply parameters. In tailrace tunnel export set a secondary handling measures for the effective control of parameters. So that after spraying the air can supply to the station directly. which improve the economy and adaptability of the system.Based on current research and application of TTV technique. the Master Thesis concerns on heat and moisture transfer between air and water in finite tailrace tunnel. At first the changes-in-law of air and various factors on the air parameters was analysised. the heat and moisture transfer model of TTV process was established. The simulation and analysis was performed by applying the numerical model. Based on the numerical model and analysis of simulative results, the simplified model of TTV process was presented and the solution was deduced. Secondly,the heat and mass transfer in spray room was studied. a model of heat and mass transfer of air and water in direct contact flow wasdeduced. The simplified model was validated by experimental data.At last,under condition of finite lenth tailrace tunnel an integrated thermodynamic calculation method of TTV process was presented based on the simplified model. it provided theory foundation for the application of TTV technique in hydropower station.TTV technique is conducive to energy saving and environmental protection.. The outcomes of paper establish Theoretical basis for the application of TTV technique in hydropower station,it has practical value in hydropower station project.
