In this dissertation, some researches have been made on how to extend the range of projectiles by gliding flight greatly. The brief research points are as follows:Aiming at projectiles by gliding flight, this dissertation establishes the ballistic mathematical model based on the motive characteristic and the pneumatic property.Based on the effection of different aerodynamic configuration of projectiles,a research has been made on how to extend the range by using the best ratio between rise and resistance. The pneumatic appearance scheme for projectiles by gliding flight is analysed, and the major pneumatic parameter is also calculated using engineering algorithm.The flight stability of projectiles is conducted,mainly touching the static stability and the dynamic stability .The effection of the stabilization storage to static stability is analysed.Based on the attack angle equation,the dynamic stability is analysed.A research is made on the rule of superior rudder angle of projectiles by gliding flight. The numerical simulation and the scheme ballistic design of projectiles are presented in this dissertation. From the results, some initial launch and control conditions are quoted to help for extending the range by gliding flight. The calculation consequently has the certain reference.
