With the developing of technology and equipment,the more and more excellent quality and reliability of power are desired,especially,some national defence department almost do not allow the break of 3~5ms,so spare power supply becomes absolutely necessary equipment.Firstly,the paper introduce the development of UPS,EPS and ATS,point out that the equipments could not used for field operation.Then,on the base of the principle of waveforms coefficient and instantaneous reactive power theory,it brings forward a new equipment for Instantaneous and disturb-free automatic-switch of double power,it utilize check power value to avoid converse power flow.The equipment could identify and isolate the broken-down power source with the method of inspecting the correlation coefficient of voltage and instantaneous active power waveforms in 5ms,and keep continuous power supply in this process.Finally,the paper introduce the result of examination that was carried out in a military base,emphasize the equipment contribute to the switching technology of spare power supply and typical relay protection theory.
