| The networked automatic generation control systems before and after deregulation environment are systematically analyzed and studied in this paper. After analyzing the characteristic of time delay in automatic generation control systems, sliding mode prediction , which is based on the networked control system , is proposed. The algorithm uses a nominal model to predict future sliding mode value, conducts receding optimization, makes feedback correction, and uses a ideal reaching law being the reference sliding mode trajectory. Through building buffers in the actuator node, the proposed scheme can compensate random delay induced by communication network completely. Finally, a two-area non-reheat thermal system and a three-area reheat hydro-thermal system both under traditional environment and a two-area non-reheat thermal system after deregulation are studied. The results show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme. |
