Simulation And Analysis On IGCC System Based On Aspen Plus

Since 1970's, IGCC technology is widely considered as one of the most promising clean coal power-generation technologies. In this paper, based on the process simulator------Aspen Plus, the models for Texaco coal water slurry gasifier, coal gas cleaning system, gas-turbine, heat recovery boiler, and steam-turbine are established respectively. The effects of the main working parameters such as coal water slurry concentration, oxygen-coal ratio and oxygen purity on the performance of the gasifier are detail analyzed. Finally, the performance analysis of the whole IGCC system is given.
