This paper is to study two kinds of centrifugal compressor: low speed and high speed, using the economic software FINE/TURBO which was designed by the Belgium company NUMECA, studying the influence of root fillet and boundary layer transition on the aerodynamic performance of centrifugal impeller.Under the premise of the whole turbulent SA model, this paper analysises the differences aerodynamic performance of the different conditions when the roots with fillet or not, and compares with the experimental data, The results show : the root with fillet would reduce the flowing mass, the bigger the fillet the smaller the mass; Pressure ratio and efficiency would decline a little. The distribution parameters near the root change significantly.Introducing AGS transition model on the basis of turbulence, this paper calculates the location of boundary layer transition in different conditions and the changes of aerodynamic performance, and compares with the experimental results and the whole turbulence model simulation's results. The results show that: the simulated values of considering boundary layer transition are closer to the experimental data, the overall performance parameters over the whole turbulence model has improved.
