| Referring to the experimental device in the ASTM D2275-01 standard test method for voltage endurance of solid electrical insulating materials subject to corona on the surface, a set of testing system for the corona aging of organic insulation materials was developed in this paper. The new system could set different corona conditions, and there were up to 54 samples could be tested synchronously under the set experimental conditions system. The new system is composed of corona electrode system, measuring system, protection device, and environment controling and monitoring device. More over, A software system was developed based on Labview platform, which can collect and analyz the corona current, corona voltage and some other parameters at real time. And the corona aging experiment for HTV silicone rubber samples was carried out using the new developed system. Experimental results show that the varied corona contiditons would influence the performance of HTV silicone rubber in different ways, this test also verified the reliability and stability of the system. This work is expected to provide a standard experimental platform for the relative research on the corona aging of solid insulation materials. |
