The Research Of IEC 61850 Information Decomposition And Application In Substation Automation System

At present, IEC 61850 is the latest international standard about communications network and automation system in substations. The dissatation focuses on how to gain necessary information using in substation monitor system from the information model designed in IEC 61850.Firstly, the background and actuality of the standard are introduced. Then the method of describing Substation Automation System using by the substation configuration description language (SCL) is analyzed. The functional information model of intelligent electronic device (IED) is decomposed, and necessary information is picked up. The process of generating real-time database of substation monitor system is described. Finally, a configuration tool is developed and its application is discussed.
