Prestressed concrete pipe pile is widely used in the 80's of 20th century,and it is a special type of prefabricated concrete pile. This type of pile has many advantages,such as simple technique,better quality,fast construction low cost and convenientd etection,so it has been widely used in geotechnical engineering. Though with the above merits, its design theory and construction technique need to be further perfected. So the study on some problems in application of prestressed concrete pipe pile is of great theoretical and practical significance.The vertical pile loadedlaterally has extensively used, so the researches on the bearing and deforming behavior piles under lateral loads are very important. Previous researches of piles loaded laterally are carried out mainly by experimental and theoretical analysis. Though a lot of experimental data and researching achievements have been obtained, many problems remain unsolved for the complex nature of piles loaded laterally. So there are many works in the field are in want to do.A numerical analysis model of pile-soil interaction is established for single pile. This paper also analyses the characteristics and influential factors of single pile under lateral load and put forward the suggestion.
