The main characteristic of modern PC structure has transformed into complex structure (usually redundant structure) from simple one( usually simply supported member). The effective foundation of prestress and the secondary interior force induced in the process of prestress setting up have not deeply researched yet. Based on the present theory research and engineering generalization, this paper has completed the following work: Firstly, it introduced prestress conception and the characteristic and classification of modern PC, and it illustrated the significance and status quo of research concerned secondary interior force induced by prestress; Secondly, the major difference between non-redundant and redundant structure under prestress lies in the secondary interior force generated by the effect of prestress in the redundant structure. Beginning with the fundamental conception of secondary interior force ,this paper discussed the calculation method of secondary shear force and compared several common computational methods of secondary both domestic and international. Thirdly, it made the space structure analysis of prestress frame structure by ANSYS soft ware and analyzed the rule of the effect of PC frame lateral restraint on secondary interior force, mainly considered the effect of construction ways, the number of span and the linear stiffness ratio of beam and column on the secondary interior force. Fourthly, considering the influence of secondary interior force on the structure, it generalized the design calculation formula of PC structure under the two limited states of carrying capacity and normal utilization. Finally, it studied the reasonable use and put forward the relevant design suggestion from the influence of secondary interior force.
