Our discussion group advanced a new structure of composite RC beams strengthened with GFRP(glass fiber reinforced plate), based on fracture mechanics principles. And a lot of experimental research and academic analysis has been putting up. Compared with common RC beams, this new structure has better anti-cracking capability, higher load carrying capability and better rigidity and ductibility.Depended on our former researches, our discussion group further advanced"release-prevent"and"release-prevent-resist"new designing theory. The key of our new designing theory is cracking controlling maneuver. Based on this point, the thesis makes a new explanation of mechanics capability of the new structure, and makes a contrast of different crack controlling maneuvers. The thesis also makes a research of interface cracking and interface debonding failure, and deduces an analysis model and formula to predict the interface debonding load of our new structure. In addition, the sleeve in post-tensioning prestressing RC beam produces multi-interfaces, it will affect cracking of concrete. The researches show that,"release","prevent"and"resist"make evident effect on crack controlling. The analysis model and formula to predict the interface debonding load of our new structure has a good coherence with the experimental results. The multi-interfaces produced by sleeve makes a bad effect on concrete crack, it is the reason why we don't allow prestressing RC beams to be cracked.
