Concrete Faced Rockfill Dam is one kind of fast development new dam in the near 20-30 year, and has some merits such as the structure to be simple, making use of local materials, the convenient construction, the conduction current low request, the short construction time, the low construction cost, so the prospect for development is very good.The Concrete Faced Rockfill Dam takes the anti-seepage concrete face by the rigid material, the concrete face is anti-seepage primary structure of Concrete Faced Rockfill Dam, therefore, the concrete face is essential to dam's safe operation. Satisfying the impermeability, the crack resistance and the durability is overriding demand to the concretes face. So long the domestic and foreign experts have done the massive research on Concrete Faced Rockfill Dam, and have proposed many very useful models. However, People have not obtained the unanimous understanding to the concrete face strain characteristic analysis and the research, and have wide divided opinions. This article makes some discussions on structural stress's influencing factor and various factors to the concrete face stress's influence rule, and conducts the more thorough analytical study to distortion characteristic emphatically, and the primary coverage is as follows:(1).This article from aspects such as calculation method, rock constitutive model, special bounding surface simulation, construction load way analyze influence rule to concretes face distortion and face stress.(2) This article analyzes the concretes face distortion characteristic, and attempts with the analytic way to analyse face strain in only a factor instance, and analyze to destroy the rule to concrete face, provides a direction and the method mentality for the later analysis accurate determination face strain.(3) Has studied constitutive model of Concrete Faced Rockfill Dam material, and carries on the re-development in the ADINA software foundation, and has realized the graduation load which the rockfill is self-possessed, and has established Duncan-zhang E-B model subroutine, and has established three dimensional finite element analysis model of Concrete Faced Rockfill Dam.(4) Take Tian Sheng Qiao faced dam as an example, and has analyzed the rockfill and the face distortion characteristic; Uses the actual data and the prevenient analytic method to analyze deflection distortion pattern of Tian Sheng Qiao faced dam; Carries on the three dimensional finite element computation to Tian Sheng Qiao faced dam using the ADINA software and the establishment subroutine, having analyzed Tian Sheng Qiao face's distortion characteristic in two kind of situations on the actual load way and the improvement loads way.(5) Point out explicitly the cardinal principle of compatibility of rock deformation and face deformation in Concrete Faced Rockfill Dam.
