The Research On The Fenghuang Square Color

Color is very important for the City Square. It not only shows the overall outlook and the cultural characteristics of cities, which also reflects the quality of the city's living level. With the advent of the information society, the globalization of information exchange, the acceleration of culture exchange and the convergence of color for the City Square show that the color of different areas is declining, even disappearing. Meanwhile, there is also a very serious problem for the out of touch between color design and construction, material production.In this paper, we put more attention to the problem of the City Square's color. We studied the colorscape with color theory, such as the theory of Color science, geography color and the color psychology .We have studied the operation mode of the City Square's Colorscape, shown the decisive force hidden in the colorscape from the perspective of color landscape design, analysis and management.The first part of the paper introduced the background, purpose and the significance of the research, which also introduced the results of relevant areas and the research framework; in the second part, we give a introduction of foreign advanced colorscape theory and set up the framework of the paper; the third part made an overview of color landscape characteristics of the City Square; in the part IV, we introduced the investigation, analysis and evaluation methods; we took the Phoenix Square in Suzhou as an example, made an detailed analysis and evaluation of the Square and in the sixth pare, we summarized the points of the paper and prospected the future.By the research in this paper, we expected to provide a theoretical basis and practical methods of operation for the color of the City Square's landscape color collection, color design, color data analysis and color management.
