Military relay, as one of main electronic components in national defense weapon equipment system and aerospace system for control, information transfer and circuit switch, is widely used in the field of national defense military engineering, communication and industrial automation, etc. The complexity and rigor of working environment demands that military relay must have the ability of electromagnetic interference resistance, which can ensure the reliability of the entire natonal weapon equipment system and aerospace system. Spike susceptibility test and electrical fast transient test (EFT) are the important parts of EMC conducted interference test for military relay and combined module. So the research is valuable in theory and practice to improve the reliability of national weapon equipment system and aerospace system. This research subject is one of the department of defense"Eleven-Five"subject.In the past, when people attached more importance to relay's problems on electromagnetic compatibility, they took relay as a kind of interference source and ignored it as a kind of susceptive source. So the step of research on relay's conducted interference test techinique fell behind, only in establishing test standard. This paper synthetically analyzed research situation of testing system of relay's conducted interference test in the world, and presented the overall design of the testing system of conducted interference for military relay. In this paper, an analyzing method and Monto Carlo method were separately introduced to carry through parameters and tolerance design for high-level surge tache of spike voltage and EFT's main circuit. Meanwhile, the hardward circuits based on CPLD and ARM embedded technique were designed, and the software based on real-time embedded operation systemμC/OS-II was programmed. Consequently it realized spike susceptibility test and EFT test for military relay, and we can gain the immunity level of relay under test on standard test condition.The result of testing indicated the design method accepted is valid. Meanwhile, it can generate perfect spike voltage and EFT wave of conducted interference which tally wih standard GJB 181 and GB/T 17626. So it can provide test guidance and validation for relay's EMC design and optimization, and a more effective method to improve the electromagnetic relay's capability and reliability.
