Rolling bearing is an important component of rotating machinery. Its running state can influence the performance of the whole machine directly. So ensuring the quality of bearing product is very necessary. Along with the development of mechanical fault diagnosis in recent years, there are more theories and methods for bearing quality testing. Based on widely reading of references and understanding of bearing vibration test technology and bearing fault analysis theory, this thesis designs bearing quality testing system.First, from the start point of bearing configuration, it introduces the basic parameters of rolling bearing, including some characteristic frequency and bearing instinct frequency. Then introduce rolling bearing vibration feature including good ones and fault ones. It finds the formation of vibration signals of rolling bearing in terms of theory.Next, it analyzes and compares several common methods of bearing fault feature extraction, including Dimension Parameters method and Non-Dimension Parameters method of time-domain analysis, frequency-domain analysis and wavelet analysis method. These methods have their own advantages and disadvantages and application situations, so it has to choose the suitable method according to detail request.Then, it introduces the components and their functions of rolling bearing fault testing system, and design principle and realization scheme of every mechanical part, including power plant design and select, principle axis and shaft liner, clamping mechanism design, loading mechanism design and mechanism base design. Then introduce the components design and select of the vibration signal collecting system., including the sensor selection, sensor installation styles, A/D data acquisition card and signal amplifier, digitizing oscilloscope and so on.Then, it takes the example of detail experiment of testing system in laboratory. It introduces the bearings and their faults styles, and analyzes the feature of every fault. It gives a detail experiment project and analyzes the data in several ways to realize the bearing fault diagnosis. In addition it does the system errors analysis, and provides some measures to reduce them. At last, this thesis design a rolling bearing quality automatic testing system using for bearing product line in terms of theory. It put forward the whole components of the system and mechanical action process in the product line, and does some primary design of the system.Through the bearing vibration fault testing experiments in lab, using advanced signal analysis method, it can evaluate the bearings effectively. It provides firm basic of bearing quality testing system design and applied in product line.
