Research On The Strategies For The Urban Design Restraint Of Harbin

Since the urban design spread to China in 1980's, it's has been paid more attention and applied in many projects because of the advantages of molding in city space environment. As the super city and the historical city in the north of China, the urban planning and urban design of Harbin has composed the fine chapter during the development of history near hundred years. However, there are many problems in the theories research and practice exploration in Harbin. As the most important issue, the implementation effect is not ideal, the purpose of the design is unable to carry out effectively, which also cared by the designer, government, resident and developer.On the basis of review Harbin's urban design, this thesis proposed the reason of the problems is lacking restricting during the process of design and implementation. Through paying attention to the research on restraint strategies, such as making the standard of the design contents, formulating the implementation mechanism, consummating the process of operation, the thesis attempt to explore the way of restricting which is suit to manage and easy to use. It can make the design and implementation system of urban design better and better which supplied the reference to the government to constitute the standard and policy of urban design.The thesis contains the following parts:Firstly, through analysis and summarization the recent problems, review urban design understanding of different scholar's, analysis policy of urban planning administration characteristic, the thesis propose the necessity and possibility of the urban design restraint.Secondly, using studies related to Harbin. It traces the history and achievement, the problems and reasons during the practice, the factors of influence, the thesis proposed the principal strategic conceptions.Thirdly, the thesis proposed the efficient and possible restraint strategies from the design and implementation aspect, summarized the name and type, unified the design content and production, studied the implementation mechanism and propaganda measure, consummated the process of urban design operation.
