| Chinese Railways will develop by leaps and bounds to further satisfy theinevitable trend of the growing economic development .In the development , how toperfect overhaul system and how to apply the reformation of the overhaul system areimportant factors to promote the development. This paper is mainly to study thereformation of the repair system .In the existing repair system, the prevailingproblem is the discrepancy of theory base with practical exertion; such as fixedlocomotive repair basement, rigid maintenance significance and poor maintenancemanagement.This paper,we chose the Tianjin North Maintenance Workshop as the object ofstudy. We chose the application and effect of the system reforms in Tianjin NorthMaintenance Workshop as a starting point, the theoretical significance of thespecialized and centralized maintenance system as a main line, deeply study theapplication of specialized and centralized repair in Tianjin North MaintenanceWorkshop of the quality control workshop, Production and cost management systemand the optimization.This paper begins with the background of the reforms and saltant development ofthe railway, systematically analyze the necessarity of the reforms of the maintenancesystem, and its effect on practical application of specialized and centralized repair andthe development of the enterprise. Finally, this paper summarizes the actual results ofthe application of specialized and centralized repair from tangible and intangiblebenefits respectively. Taking specialized and centralized repair in repair system andreasonable arrangements for locomotive maintenance operations prove very helpful insolving the problems occurring in locomotive maintenance operations and have agood comprehensive efficiency.
