Study On The Thickness-measuring System Of Product Of Calender

Thickness is a very important parameter for the membrane used in the enterprise. It is of direct significance to the normal work of the membrane,and the cost and competitiveness of the enterprise. So the measurement of the thickness has been a popular scientific research. In accordance,many methods are produced,such as mechanical method,ray method,capacitance method and optical method,etc. Of all these methods,capacitance and optical methods are major uncontacted ways. They have many advantages of fast,accurate, Environmental Protection and without damage to the others.Based on the both methods,two sensors with sample structure and high-precision are designed. There are many innovations in making sensors. Through the calibration and measurement test,stability test,reliability test, the system has been assessed. The results show that not only the systems meet the demand of the enterprise,but both of the methods are feasible in the measurement of thickness..
