The curved long span continous rigid frame bridge with high piers is a style of bridge that is extensively built. In the cantilever construction stage, it is sensetive to the incoming wind fluctuations.So it is necessary to study the response of bridge in wind.The main content of the paper goes as follows:1.Introduce the development of long span continous rigid frame bridge with high piers. Show the necessity of buffeting analysis.2.The mechanical characteristic of a bridge is determined by its configuration. And the dynamic character is based on natural frequency. The configuation of beam,piers is presented. The main process of cantilever construction is also showed.Four models with different semidiameters in construction phase are established and analysed with ANSYS. The results show that semidiameter does not change the natural frequency much.3.The chatacter of wind and the theory of simulation of wind turbulence are presented. The program is made to simulate the wind fluctuations.4.The force caused by wind can be separated into static wind force, buffeting force,self-excited force. Several theories about it are presented . Buffeting analysis is done to the former models.
