Rotary power machineries play an important role in the national economy field. Rotor shaft system is the core component of them and its torsional vibration can not be ignored because it'll result in huge losses even disastrous consequences once the plant failed. Simulation analysis and experiment research based on extensive and in-depth investigation conduct useful probes for the torsional vibration measurement and control of rotor shaft system in order to go deep into this field.A co-simulation strategy that involves the finite element modal analysis theory, dynamics analysis on flexible body and control system design is developed. Firstly, the finite element modal analysis of the rotor shaft is conducted, which aims to find out the inherent frequencies and modal shapes. The veracity of the finite element model can be verified compared with the experiment result. Secondly, the torsional vibration response is calculated using the flexible model established in MSC.ADAMS. Thirdly, control simulation is conducted in ADAMS-Simulink torsional vibration co-simulation platform.For the sake of overcoming the defects of the traditional measuring method and aiming at the characteristic of rotating shaft system, a new type of torsional vibration measurement hardware equipped with the wireless data collect and transmit device is designed under current experimental conditions and research level. The key point of tosional vibration measurement and control of rotor shaft system under rotating condition is solved. The application software is programmed by using combined programming method; a double-sensor differential connection mode is used in order to shield the interference and improve the Signal-to-Noise and make up for the shortage of acceleration transducer which is disturbed easily. The complete experiment system of rotor shaft torsional vibration measurement and control of the rotary machinery is set up successfully.The torsional vibration inherent frequency experiment of rotor shaft system using "resonance scanning" method demonstrates the validity of the simulation analysis proposed above, which combines with theoretical analysis, simulation and experimental validation. A detailed plan for the experiments of torsional vibration measurement and control of rotor shaft system at different speed of rotation is designed under current conditions. Phase shift control technique that is considered to be simple and reliable is adopted in the experiment which aims to verify the work state of torsional vibration measurement device and effectiveness of the control. The results show obvious effectiveness of the control on rotor shaft system and excellent experimental repeatability.
