After constructing water conservancy hub in the river course, it will happen two different types of scour on its lower reaches of riverbed. One is the scour happening in the longer section of the lower reaches of hub generally; The other is the scour happening in the shorter section near the lower reaches of hub. The former scouring distance is often dozens or even hundreds of kilometers, the riverbed and the water level in the longer distance from the lower, caused bank protection works and the foundations of piers meet with brush and destroyed, and it is difficult to diverse along the original diversion mouth; The river mainstream line may change, resulting in the dangerous constructions and the translocation; The part fairway conditions of shoal may deteriorate due to scour; The latter scouring distance is shorter, often only tens of meters to a few hundred meters, but the scour depth is deeper, may directly threaten the security of its own hub.Water conservancy hub storage, the initial intercept sediment, water leaking will make the general scour and piers local scour of bridge itself increasing. The original foundation depth of piers may not meet the requirements, thus endangering the safety of bridge, it is necessary to protect and reinforce according to the actual situation.It is to do numerical simulation about water scour using FLUENT software to build three-dimensional model of water and sediment in the thesis. First comparing the simply three- dimensional gas-water-sediment flow model with the existing related classical theory, on this basis, it is to establish the whole region three-dimensional model of multiphase flow according to information at the scene of Baishuihe grand bridge, to analyses the affection on the riverbed roughened because of the existence of the bridge crossing water and on time factors under the process of water cutting. Finally, it is to sum up the water scour characteristics of the bridge crossing water integrating with the actual situation, and to propose the measures of protection and reinforcement.
