In the past 20 years, with the development of long span bridge, the self-anchored suspension bridge was widely used, but some problems of this type bridge is still worth to research. In this thesis, taking the self-anchored suspension bridge of Qingshui River Bridge as a numerical example, four parts were studied in the static behavior reseach of self-anchored suspension bridge by FEM:(1)The development and present situation of self-anchored suspension bridge is recounted.(2) Based on the design, the reasonable main cable and hanger force of completed bridge stage are gained by adjusting, then builts up an integrated finite element model of the whole bridge.(3) Based on the design, recount the construction stages of the Qingshui River Bridge and find the control of the hanger force in the construction.(4)The structural behaviors under the static load, live load, temperature load and wind load are computed and analysed. Then the structural deflection and behaviors are computed according to the most disadvantageous.During the analysis stage, the static analysis method of self-anchored suspension bridge are comprehensively understood. We hope the researchment in this thesis can provide reference for self-anchored suspension bridge design and construction.
