Research On B/S Model Flood Forecasting And Dispatching System Of Kuitun Reservoir

As a measure without engineering for flood prevention and disaster reduces, reservoir plays a more and more important role in the flood prevention and disaster reduces in the lately few years. Pointing at the characteristic of flood prevention and flood buildings of Kuitui reservoir, a B/S model reservoir flood forcasting and dispatching system was esTab.lished, which is on the base of the C/S model system.The main research content and achievement are as follows:(1) The B/S model reservoir flood forcasting and dispatching system was disintegrated into five main classes by using the technology of COM+. They are telemetry station class, forcasting class, dispatching class, universal class and management for results class. They make the transplant and upgrade of the system become easier.(2) The subsystem of management of information system was built by using the technology of WEBGIS. Thefore, the users can release information, share information, exchange and cooperate with others on the Internet, which improves the productivity and the cost will be less.(3) Several models of flood forcasting were using to simulate the flood in Kuitui reservoir by the technique of comprehensive analysis mothde. According to the results, two modes of flood forcasting were used to esTab.lish the pool for modes of flood forcasting. They are water balance mode with accumulated snow and snow melt, common practice with experience model. Therefore, the forcasting plans can be selected reasonable.(4) A B/S model reservoir flood forcasting and dispatching system was established by using the combined knowledge of hydrology and water resource, management of water conservancy, technology of network, technology of data base, system engineering and opsearch. The tools of programming are VS. NET and SQL SERVER 2000.The B/S model system becomes more powerful in information sharing, forcasing and dispatching. The work of maintenance and upgrade become easier. And the problem of"fat-client"was resolve completely. And the new system is more powerful. It runs steady and reliable from Jun, 2007 to now. The productivity of forecasting and dispatching is enhanced greatly. The users are satisfied with the system. The practice proved that the research is successful.
