Aluminum electromagnetic casting is a new material proeessing method that combines the magneto-hydrodynamics(MHD) theory and the developed casting engineering. Aluminum crystal is refined and casting-rolling strip's performance is improved by introducing special electromagnetic field into the continuous casting zone to change solidification and crystallization condition for molten aluminum.The paper analyses the mathematical model and the functional mechanism of compound magnetic field. Based on the analysis, the specific requirements of the electromagnetic field controller are put forward. In order to match the requirements, the variable frequency converter which is a AC-DC-AC converter is adopted in the system. And a closed-loop output current control method based on the Sinusoidal pulse Width Modulation(SPWM) is designed. So that current is forced to trace reference and good control performance is obtained.Because of difficulties in modeling electromagnetic induction set precisely, self-adaptive PID control arithmetic base on single neuron is adopted to control the current output. And the software and hardware schemes of control system are researched in the paper. TMS320F2808 is the system control core. Modularization design philosophy is adopted in design of periphery circuit and some modules are emphasized in the paper, such as driving circuits of Insulated-Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT), human-machine interface module and communication module. The paper researchs the SPWM waveform generator, CAN bus communication protocol and communication software in software design.Single neuron self-adaptive PID controller and the variable frequency control system are studied and simulated by matlab. Simulation results show that single neuron self-adaptive PID control arithmetic can effectively improve dynamic performance of controller and get better control effect than routine PID. And the research and design of intelligent control system can achieve expected purpose and obtain ideal load current waveform.Finally, this paper makes some conclusions, and presents some issues for future research. |
