Abstract/Summary:
The prospect of using chlorine dioxide(ClO2) is widespread as a kind of disinfectant. Regarding the determination of chlorine dioxide in the water, some domestic scholars proposed the membrane separation ultraviolet determination. Its principle is the microporosity teflon membrane has the selectivity, the member condition material can through this membrane as a result of the molecular proliferation, the ion condition material cannot pass because of the membrane hydrophobic. Thus the chlorine dioxide member can be separated from the solution so as to eliminate the disturbance of other ions.This paper study of Static Membrane Speration of Chlorine Dioxide was carried out because it has two characters::it has a absorption peak at wavelength of 360nm and can get through dorosity polytetrafluoroethylene membrane.By analyzing the inflence of diffenert temperature,concentration of Chlorine Dioxide on separation, the solution flow rate and separation of the High Drive.and study the interference form the solution of ions to the determination results. statistics show that:(1)Detaching ClO2 from of water by using A(0.45μm)porosity polyetrafluoro-ethylene membrane is more effective.Experimental temperatyre has a great influence upon detaching ClO2 from of water.Under normal circumstances, when the high temperature the balance of ClO2 required by a relatively short time, shows that the temperature on the membrane diffusion is a facilitating role.However,when the temperature is higher than 40℃the in water will be decomposition, so 20℃to 30℃is the best temperature for membrane separation. According to the experimental precision experiments,the best tracks high ratio of 3.48, rotor speed is 100 r / min.(2)The paper has indicated that ClO-,ClO2- and ClO3- have no influence upon the result of determination of ClO2.(3)Oxalic acid and chlorine will formation a stable compounds, the new substances does not have absorbance value at 360 nm; In addition, by comparing the spectra showed that: oxalic acid does not interfere with the determination of chlorine dioxide, this is mean that the oxalate chlorine is a well masking agent.(4)The detection limit is 0.13mg/L.The linear range of determination is 0.05~5mg/L.Cv is 4.63%. The average recovery is 91.1%.Therefore,the method has a highly sensitive,precise,simple and fast one.
