Welding technology is an essential Industrial technology means during the machinery processing, and it plays a very important role in the development of national economy. But smoke and dust produced by bonding technology bring damage to the working environment gravely, endanger people's health. Governing soldering smoke and dust in air is always a perplexing problem in the field of Industrial ventilation and becomes a difficult point of the field because of the large-scale-rizaton trend of workshop building, the uncertainty of welding place, the diversity of welding way and the complicated smoke and dust's formatting and irradiating mechanism etc. In fact, so far the relations between the formatting and diffusing processs of smoke and dust and a lot of space key elements have been not be able to be grasped completely from theory or reality yet. Especially to the enormous car welding workshop, effective dust removal by ventilation is very difficult so far. At present, car producing industry in our country is at a fast-developing period. Our car output is the second in the world by 2007, and the welding technology is the key technology in the modern car industry. In order to improve labor health condition in car industry, it is an important proposition to solve dust removal by ventilation of the enormous welding workshop.This article builds three models to a car welding workshop by PHOENICS, and carrys on numerical simulation of air distribution under different air distribution methods. Model A is built by iductive ventilation without air conditioning, so the temperature is too high; Model B is added air conditioning system on the basis of Model B, and every parameter is well fulfilled; Model C is built by part ventilation and it still has air conditioning system, every parameter is well fulfilled too. If the welding places do not change, this kind of ventilation can be used too.Compare the ventilation modes above, iductive ventilation with air conditioning system solves the high temperature problem and is not effected by welding places, so it is the best ventilation modes.
