Beam string structure is a self balance system through braces to connect bending resistance members and tensile bending resistance members, and exert pre-stress forces on tensile bending resistance members. Beam string structure is light, it has large rigidity and stable shape with light architecture appearance, and has an advantage to have a full use of rigidity and soft materials. So beam string structure is widely used home and abroad by all these merits. Currently, the systematic analysis and structural anaylsis combined with construction process of BSS fall behind the engineering applications, and because of the sensitivity to wind load, so wind load, especially the pulsating movement of wind load, become the vital factor to BSS designing. But there are no clear rules in the exiting code about wind load of BBS in our country. It leaves BBS some safety hidden trouble in certain degree.In order to have a better application about BSS, in this paper a large span double BSS is analyzed in form finding, wind-induced vibration characteristics of single BSS as well. The mainly works of this paper as follows:1. The method to bring in pre-stress forces of string in BSS is introduced. Use temperature load to imitate pre-stress force.2. Calculation equation of pre-stress force in BSS is presented based on three hinged arch.3. The double BSS which is composed of in-plane trusses is established by the finite element software ANS YS as the foundation of form finding; form finding of the double BSS under multi-tension is analyzed by using equivalent cooling method.4. Use model AR to achieve the imitation of pulsating movement wind velocity by Matlab language program.5. Use time-history analysis method to calculate and analyze the wind-induced vibration of BSS. To alter formula of wind-induced vibration coefficient based on certain reliability. The impact of wind-induced displacement vibration coefficient of BSS is discussed by analyzing parameters such as span, rise-span ratio, sag-span ratio, pre-stress force and average wind velocity, and gets the regular pattern of wind-induced vibration displacement coefficient to provide references for wind residential design of BSS.
