Pipeline suspension bridge is one of the main forms in the pipe-line transportation, and it is cable-suspended structure, it is strong non-linearity. there is smaller vertical load, width, span and the overall rigidity of this kind of bridge then the general bridge structure. Therefore, it is more possible for vertical bending vibrations, the torsional vibration or the crooked union vibration than the general bridge under the wind. It is specially easier to appear the response of wind for the great span hanging bridge. If the dynamic characteristic is not good, it is easy to create the destruction. If it is done, there will be huge economic loss and ecology destruction. Moreover there is few research on this kind of bridge. It is extremely essential to carrie out the non-linear static, the dynamic performance and wnid-indueed response.This article take some active suspension bridge as an example. It establishs wind load simulator by utilize the general programming software. Uses finite element software ANSYS to carry on the non-linear static, the dynamic performance and wnid-indueed response. It has launched the following work:(1) Creating the FEM of bridge to carry on the geometry nonlinear analysis. The shape computation is the key of creating FEM model. The bridge is composed by the main line, the wind rope, under the stable rope, the suspension cable and the anchorage cable. The shape computation is more complex then ordinary hanging bridge. The rope procedure must consider the coupling function between various ropes.(2) The simulation of fluctuating wind field of a large span suspended bridge is carried out. According to steady Gauss, the simulation of fluctuating wind field is carried out by Compag Visual Fortran6.5. It also has produced interval curve of wind speed time about dimensional effect.(3) The dynamic performance is carried out under the initial condition of state force and the geometry coordinates. The dynamic performance influence is analysised on the rope system through carrieing on computation of the dynamic performance on the different mechanics models. It provide the reference for further designs on the hanging bridge.(4) Analysis of non-linear transient mechanical is carried out under the initial condition of state force and the geometry coordinates. Analysis of horizontal vibration response is done on the base of old model and wind load. The characteristic of pulsation response can be obtained through to the analysis of spectrum analysis.
