Along with improved quality and increased intermingle quantity of fly ash, there were limitations in the existing formula of the compressive strength of fly ash concrete. Referencing existing research results, the author studied the main elements of influencing the compressive strength of fly ash concrete, and also put forward the nonlinear forecasting formula based on the cement strength, water-cement ratio, generalized sand ratio nonlinear forecasting formula. This has been experimented and showed that this formula can be used for engineering. The corrosion of reinforcing steel bar in concrete is important in the study of durability of concrete. Researching the corrosion of reinforcing steel bar and building up steel corrosion extent estimated mode at the moment of cover cracking due to corrosion expansion are the key works of analyzing the existing evaluation of degeneration and durability of the structure. It also has great significance to accurate prediction of the service life and residual life of structures. The model of cover cracking of fly ash concrete due to corrosion has been built by the elastic mechanics analysis, we have been deduced the academic formula to calculate the steel corrosion extent at the moment of cover cracking due to corrosion expansion. The academic formula has been validated by test. Particularly analyzed the factors that the concrete compressive strength, the thickness of cover, the diameter of steel bar, the ratio of thickness of cover and diameter of steel bar, the expansive ratio of rust which have influenced the steel corrosion extent at the moment of cover cracking due to corrosion expansion, and then showed the predigested formula to calculate the steel corrosion extent at the moment of cover cracking due to corrosion expansion under normal atmospheric environment.
