This paper studies auto beltline based on the theory of visual basic psychology. By researching auto consumer groups and literature of auto beltline, using summarized contrast and analyzes method, the paper discusses a particular kind cars and consumer groups. At the end, these existing problems of the particular kind car beltline have be found and the paper give some conclusions based on the visual psychology to solve these problems.The study work of this paper includes:The development history of automotive beltline research, Particular kind cars horizontal and vertical investigations, Interviewing with the vehicle designer to establish the framework of vehicle beltline factors, Particular kind car users investigations (including users basic information, User overall feelings, the aesthetic experience to the. car's, and the aesthetic experience to beltline). Establishing user model of the user visual aesthetic, Anglicizing this model to find the problems of beltline of particular kind car, and give some conclusions based on visual psychological theory to solve the problem.In this paper, investigation shows the characteristics about the kind car and the car users, and the existing four problems of Audi A4 that: 1 The Uniformity issue on auto beltline and auto; 2 The Functional of auto beltline; 3 The aesthetic experience of auto beltline; 4 Beltline design of the cross-reference issue.The author gives some advices to solve these problems:1. To the Uniformity issue of auto beltline and auto, the author believes that auto beltline must be designed in form regulations such as uniform, concise, symmetry, balance, stability, proportion, rhythm, rhythm, and transition.2. To the Functional problems of auto beltline, the author concludes that the Audi A4 beltline should be enhanced its function for the vehicle can be identified; Auto beltline should be in aerodynamically shape. Author believe the beltline of the vehicle can enhance the car identification, by creating their own features symbols; author believes that for making the beltline according to aerodynamic shape, it must be in the shape of curve, varying as the body of the car, and be continuous.3. To the aesthetic experience problems of auto beltline, the author believes that there are two ways, including enhancing the dynamical shape of auto beltline, and increasing contrast between beltline to auto.4. To beltline design of the cross-reference issue, the author believes that the reference should start from learning the sample model auto how to meet their consumption user psychology needs.
